Week 2

This was my first “real” week with a loss. Last week I had a big loss but I listed my starting weight as what I got at the doctor’s office fully dressed with shoes on. I can tell you I do not weigh in like that at home. So, while I was on plan the first week, I know that big loss was more about what I was wearing than anything. When I got on the scale this week and it was down I knew that was the real thing. Following the plan does work. Even when you have a date night with cheese and chocolate fondue.

Now the trick will be to keep it up. I tend to do really well at first. Weighing and measuring everything. Tracking every little bite. Then as the weight comes off I start to slip. I quit tracking everything. I don’t measure out the creamer. I decide I’ve got this and I don’t need to do all the work. But, as my jeans can clearly show you, I don’t have it. What I do have is a short-term goal mapped out and the desire to do it. Not to mention my friends and family there to support me. Go me!



  1. Continue to be motivated!! I think you might be making this a little harder than it needs to be. I’ll enjoy following your progress and don’t quit.
